Los Picoletos —Dante Litvak (Buenos Aires, 1990) y Fabro Tranchida (Buenos Aires, 1987)— son un dúo de artistas argentinos que vive y trabaja en Bilbao (desde 2019) y que indaga, a través de la pintura , la performance y la instalación, sobre identidades juveniles disidentesy la cultura queer-punk y skater.
Entre los premios que han ganado destacan:
Beca Guggenheim Museum (New York, 2022), Tercer Premio de la Muestra de Arte Joven de La Rioja (2021), beca de ayudas a la Producción de BilbaoArte (2021), premio “Tras la tormenta” (Ayuntamiento Bilbao), residencia BilbaoArte 2019-2020, Premio Kenneth Kemble (Buenos Aires), mención de honor del Premio FundaciónItaú (Buenos Aires, 2018), la Beca de viaje de la Colección Oxenford de Arte Argentino y la beca BBK ART(e)gileak (Fundación BBK y ANTespacio, Bilbao), entre otros.
Entre sus últimos solo shows destacan:
“Los blabladores” (El Chico, Madrid), “Nudillos rotos” con la participación de el Niño de Elche y Pedro G. Romero (Museo Patio Herreriano, Valladolid). “The hammer party” (Aldama Fabre Gallery,Bilbao), “Métodos de cocción precaria” (Teatros del Canal, Madrid), “Incubadoras”(Fundación BilbaoArte, Bilbao), “Abanderados” (La Juan Gallery, Madrid), “Fuegosfatuos” (Centro Cultural San Martín, Buenos Aires).
Han publicado el libro “Guía práctica para jóvenes monstruos” y colaborado en el número 9 de la revista Headmaster, entre otras publicaciones.
Bio
Los Picoletos —Dante Litvak (Buenos Aires, 1990) and Fabro Tranchida (Buenos Aires, 1987)— are a duo of Argentine artists who live and work in Bilbao (since 2019) and who investigate youth identities through painting, performance and installation. dissidents and queer-punk and skater culture.
The awards they have won include:
